Important update regarding the COVID-19 virus:

State of Public Health Emergency

At the Spanish School of Calgary, we have been keeping updated on the evolving situation regarding the COVID-19 virus in our City.  With the announcement of new restrictions and lockdown measures, our Spring/Summer in person classes are now cancelled. If you have a credit with us for the winter session, please be assured that we will hold it for you until the next time we are able to safely offer in person classes or are happy to provide you with a refund.

We understand the frustration with not being able to learn in person, but value the safety of our students and teachers above all and can't wait to welcome you all back in person once we reopen, or online until we can meet again in person.

Again, we thank you all for your patience in these difficult times. Adelante!

The Spanish School of Calgary

Yo hablo EspaƱol.

The Spanish School of Calgary was started in Calgary in the year 2000 by volunteers who believed that knowledge of a language and cultures other than our own is helpful in enhancing every aspect of our lives. The teachers of the Spanish School of Calgary understand that individuals learn in different ways and have developed learning strategies to meet these differing needs. We have small class sizes, low registration rates, and are a community based school.

Mission statement

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and informative school environment for people of all ages who want to learn Spanish and who want to know more about Hispanic culture.

"One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way."
