By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

• Introduce yourself
• Greet and say goodbye to others
• You can say I want + verbs or + noun
• You can say I like + verbs or + noun
• Request and give phone numbers
• Order food and beverages
• You can say I have to + verb
• You will be familiar with travel vocabulary

Session I:
Introduction
Greetings and farewells
Las vocales en Español
Como te llamas? Mi nombre es.....?
Vocabulary for travelers

Session 2:
Yo quiero + verb in infinitive
Practice quiero + common spanish verbs (12 verbs)
Gender and number of nouns
Vocabulary for travelers (La Aduana, Airport)

Session 3:
Practice greetings and farewells
Question: HAY - Is there, are there?
Articles (El, La, Los, Las, Un, Una, Unos, Unas)
Vocabulary for travelers (Restaurant, la playa)

Session 4:
Yo quiero + noun
Practice yo quiero cafe, leche, sopa, cerveza, etc.
Practice yo quiero + verbs + noun. Review

Session 5:
Me gusta + verbs + noun
"Do not forget to put article before noun"
Numbers from zero to ten
Practice: Cual es tu numero de telefono?

Session 6:
Verbo Ser and verbo Estar
Present indicative Verbos Ser y Estar
Diferencia entre verbo Ser y Estar
Practice - Yo soy / Yo estoy

Session 7:
Verb: Tener.
Yo tengo + feelings/sensations: Tengo frio, calor, etc.
Yo tengo que. I have to + verbs in infinitive
Practice making sentences

Session 8:
Verbo Hablar present tense
Practice: Yo quiero hablar
Me gusta hablar
Yo tengo que hablar
Numeros del 11 al 20

Session 9:
I prefer (something) instead of (something)
Yo prefiero.............. en vez de............................
Practice: Que prefiere usted
Review Travelers Vocabulary

Session 10:
Possessive adjectives: Mi, Mis, Tu, Tus, Su, Sus etc.
Demostrative Adjectives: Este, ese, aquel, etc.
Practice: Yo quiero Mi.......Me gusta este.........etc.
Practice: Yo quiero este, ese, aquel
Practice: Yo soy, Yo estoy, etc.

Session 11:
At the Airport, customs, routine
En el Aeropuerto, en la Aduana, rutina en el viaje
Yo quisiera. I would like + verb in infinitive and + noun

Session 12:
At the Restaurant
Order food. Yo quiero, Me gusta etc.
